SEP 5 - ARRIVE VIENNA (4 NIGHTS)
Arriving in Vienna, Austria's capital, you check into your hotel, before having free time to relax or explore. You could head to one of the city's famous cafes for a little Viennese treat. In the evening, join us for a drive around the city, taking in views of the famous Opera House, then get to know your Travel Director and fellow guests at a Welcome Reception.

SEP 6 – VIENNA - SIGHTSEEING & FREE TIME
A highlight this morning is an included attendance at the Hofburg Kapelle. Later, seeing the city through the eyes of our Local Specialist, who lives there, the sights and secrets of Vienna are revealed. Your Local Specialist takes you to see the Hofburg Palace and Parliament and views of the Opera House from the Imperial Boulevards and St. Stephen’s Cathedral and take a stroll through the oldest parts of the city, near Am Hof. After, a free afternoon, with complimentary tickets to the House of Music museum to enjoy at your leisure.

SEP 7 – VIENNA – SIGHTSEEING & FREE TIME
With VIP entry into the magnificent Museum of Fine Arts, before it's open to the general public, you are taken inside to discover the treasures assembled by the Habsburgs – and the equally beautiful architecture that houses them, with a private tour by one of the curators. Then you are admitted to the famous Spanish Riding School, for a Unique Insight to see the balletic horses, behind the scene in their stables and learn of the school’s 440 year history. Our included cultural insight today is our Viennese Waltzing lesson with an Austrian champion dancer. Later, free time to explore more at leisure.

SEP 8 – VIENNA – SIGHTSEEING – SALUTE TO VIENNA EVENING CONCERT
This morning explore the Schonbrunn Palace and gardens with a Local Expert taking you beyond its Rococo architecture and sculpted gardens for an in-depth look into the Habsburg dynasty’s former summer residence. In the Palace bakery you’ll see how authentic Austrian Apfelstrudel is made, before tasting this Local Speciality. Your final afternoon in Vienna is free - so you can shop, visit galleries or just relax in the cafes. A local dinner together and later this evening a special highlight as you attend the Salute to Vienna concert!

SEP 9 - VIENNA - SALZBURG (2 NIGHTS)
Leaving Vienna it’s on to Salzburg, travelling along the stunning Wachau Valley, seeing the famous monastic Melk Abbey and crossing the Salzkammergut - a picturesque region of mountains and lakes whose salt deposits brought wealth to the region. Stopping in Mondsee, we see St. Michael’s Basilica, where Captain Von Trapp and Maria were married in the film, The Sound of Music. Then you arrive in enchanting Salzburg.

SEP 10 – SALZBURG - SIGHTSEEING - BE MY GUEST DINNER*
