
Great Canadian War Memorial Tour 2012
For 2012 Globus is offering three departures in their Great Canadian War Memorial Tours program. The escorted tours, which are designed by Canadians for Canadians, depart on 4 April, 2012 (to coincide with the anniversary of Vimy Ridge), 4 June 2012 (the anniversary of D-Day) and 9 September 2012.
Take in the many memorials and sites significant to Canadians during World Wars I and II.
Each 11-day tour will visit northern France and London. During the tours, history buffs as well as friends and families of war vets will visit Paris, Juno Beach, the Canadian Cemetery in Dieppe, the Memorial to Allied Forces in Amiens, the Newfoundland Memorial Park at Beaumont Hamel and Vimy Ridge.
Stops in London include the Canadian Memorial in Green Park and the famed Cabinet War Rooms. Per person double, land-only tours are:
CAD 2,760 for 04 APR 2012 departure
CAD 2,799 for 04 JUN & 10 SEP 2012 departures.
Included is Superior-class accommodation, services of a tour guide, coach transportation and cross channel travel by ferry to the White Cliffs of Dover.
